Description

Rakhigarhi is one of the major Harappan sites in India that has intensively been excavated by both Dr. Amarendra Nath of the Archaeological Survey of India and Prof. Vasant Shinde from Deccan College (Deemed University), Pune which yielded a huge corpus of data on South Asian Archaeology and Protohistory. This dialogue between two stalwarts on Harappan Archaeology must impart valuable insight on the early beginning of the Harappan Culture in the subcontinent along the Saraswati river basin; providing important clues on several disputed issues within the realm of Protohistoric Archaeology, that so far have not been discussed widely. Here, we have once in a lifetime opportunity, where relevant scholars and scientists would gather together to discuss such important issues and therefore, we look forward for a lively open discussion.
