Brief Description of the Project: This project began with the goal of evaluating a multi-pronged health, nutrition, and sanitation intervention, Gram Varta, in rural Bihar. It has now progressed to investigating the social determinants of health in the Indian context. The goal is to examine social determinants, very broadly conceptualized, on a range of health and wel–being outcomes.
