Campus Queer Collectives: Awareness, Inclusivity, Intersectionality

Speaker Bio:
Gourab Ghosh is a  visiting faculty of Liberal Arts with NMIMS, Mumbai. He also teaches Bengali Language and Culture at Ashoka University, Delhi. He is a queer rights activist and theatre artist. He is also pursuing his PhD in Theatre Studies from JNU.

Abstract:
Campus queer collectives are important in creating safe and inculsive spaces on campuses besides promoting scientific facts on gender, sexuality and sexual health. Through the lens and experience of queer activism, Gourab will talk about the issues, challenges and objectives of queer collectives on Indian university campuses and how these collectives can play important role to strenghten the queer movement in India.
